One question I am asked repeatedly in regard to training is “How do we make the training stick?” To answer that question, I like to take a look at the process we, as humans, must go through to learn anything new.

I liken this challenge to when you hire a new service technician in your shop. He has been in the trade running service calls on his own for many years. Even if he is new to the industry he has an

idea of what he needs to know. But there is always a game changer, which is the process you follow to train him to run each call “your way”.
