Turnblom has broad experience writing and editing, mostly in education and journalism, and recently graduated with her master’s in media studies from UW-Milwaukee. She will have an essential role in communicating with members and prospects, working with the development team on special projects, and telling member stories to the wider industry.
“Robin is truly the right person to help us tell the Nexstar story. She’s a gifted writer and brings new perspective and ideas to the table,” said Rachel Whitman, Director of Developments at Nexstar Network.
In this new position at Nexstar, Turnblom joins a team of 33 dedicated coaches, trainers and support staff who work with plumbing, HVAC and electrical residential service contractors to help them improve their businesses.
“My time spent in education is a perfect fit for Nexstar, which does exactly that,” Turnblom said. “I can’t wait to get to know our members and tell the stories of their successes. This company does something special and it’s a great opportunity to be able to share that.”
